Dr Darria Long is a Harvard and Yale trained, board certified ER Doctor, TV regular on CNN, and host of her own “Ted Talk”, and joined Jenn and Friends to talk about coronavirus COVID-19 and what, if any, precautions we should take to prepare for the virus coming stateside.
Dr. Darria advises us that there isn't a need to become paranoid about COVID-19, but there are some daily practices we should follow:
Wash your hands! Hand sanitizer is NOT a substitution for washing hands.
When you get home, remove what you’re wearing, change clothes, take off your shoes, etc.
Wipe down whatever is brought into the house, especially if you have kids who are bringing things to and from school every day.
