Nick thinks the Steelers placing the right-of-first-refusal tender on Aaron Rodgers gives them the insurance of getting a draft pick if Rodgers goes to another team. If he retires but decides to sign elsewhere, it will give the Steelers a draft pick. Nick wonders if Rodgers was for sure coming back, why they would but this tender on Rodgers. It makes you think the Steelers are not 100%. It sets the contract parameter around $15 million dollars.
