The Pirates have Jared Jones coming back to the rotation, but they have a slew of young arms that are on innings limits. 2 Pirates-Fan contributors have suggested Ashcraft being the man to the bullpen upon Jones’ return. That seems like it would be a big much, considering Ashcraft has been the best starter on the team – even better than Paul Skenes.
