“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” might have left theaters nearly 20 years ago, but the main cast still stays in touch.
Speaking to PEOPLE, star America Ferrera chatted about making the movie and the bond the cast shares.
“We have a ‘Sisterhood’ text that’s being going for 20 years now,” she said. “I just turned 20 when we shot ‘Sisterhood’ and I’m going to be 40 next year.”
Ferrera was joined in the main cast by Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn, as their characters are connected by a magical pair of secondhand jeans.
“We’ve all had kids. We’ve all gotten married. We were at each other’s weddings. We’ve been though a lot of life together,” Ferrera said.
The "Ugly Betty" star most recently appeared in the 2023 blockbuster “Barbie.”
