Is the world big enough for two Dwayne Johnsons?

A police officer in Alabama can definitely smell what The Rock is cooking because people can’t stop telling him how much he looks like the action star’s doppelgänger.

Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields, who sports a shaved head and rippling muscles like Johnson, doesn’t mind resembling one of the biggest stars in the world.

“I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child,” Fields told AL.com. “I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.”

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office recently shared a photo of one of Fields’ recent fan encounters after a local man contacted the department wanting to meet The Rock’s celebrity look-alike.

While Fields enjoys meeting people in the community, he admits living up to their expectations can be stressful.

“I don’t want to disappoint anybody,” the 37-year-old added. “I walk up one day and at a different angle, I don’t know. It’s flattering, but it’s also a little nerve-racking as far as what others expect I guess.”

Despite the comparisons, Fields doesn’t try to imitate the “Jungle Cruise” star.

“I just plan on being me,” he continued. “I’ll cut up. I’m a big cut-up. If it comes up and somebody says that, I’ll play along. I really couldn’t be anybody but me. I’m just glad I could be part of someone’s happiness and laughter.”

Now we just need The Rock to travel down to Alabama so that the two can meet in person. Sounds like the makings of a perfect buddy cop film!
