Ed Sheeran and Elton John are getting ready to fa-la-la-la-lay that much buzzed about Christmas track on us. Which they let us know with a cheeky, or should we say leggy IG tease informing us it’s “Coming soon.”
Posing by a piano in front of a festive Christmas backdrop, both Elton and Ed each struck a pose to in their finest holiday ensembles to promote their new tune.
And while yes, Elton is wearing the heck out of that green Gucci tracksuit and red scarf (ummm, wait is that a Taylor Swift easter egg?), we have to give it to Ed, who’s quite possibly rocking the fiercest festive look of the season thus far.
Aside from the excitement over the impeding track, fans were quick to comment on Sheeran’s festively fierce look, with one even warning "Queen of Christmas" Mariah Carey by saying “he’s coming for you 💀✨😂.”
Another noted, "Nice legs,” which was additionally supported by Sarah Hyland who wrote, “OK LEGS 👏👏👏”. But like #facts.
As we previously reported, Ed initially declined doing a Christmas song with Elton. However, later changed his mind and shared he was very glad he did. Sheeran’s change of heart was in part due to two reasons, one of which was of course — Elton John.
As Ed shared with Dutch radio station NPO Radio 2 back in September, “I was like, ‘Why the f*** am I not doing a Christmas song with Elton John? I might not be here tomorrow, this will be a f***ing great way to celebrate Christmas.’”
Agreed! So we’re thankful he changed his mind and did, and even more thankful he chose to wear that outfit to promote it. Omg, maybe that’s the music video look! Ugh okay for real, soon can’t come soon enough!
