So remember that whole TikTok dramz with Halsey and their label, about not being able to release a random single? Well turns out, the internet did it’s thing and Halsey just shared a first look at the highly-discussed new song. The track, which btw is called, “So Good,” is due to arrive on June 9, while the official music video will drop on June 10.

During the initial tweetstorm, Halsey put their record label on blast for holding the single hostage, “unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.” They revealed the music video was “literally already done.” Additionally sharing that while the song was inspired by her love story with Aydin, the visual would have a campy horror concept — think Scream.

Well, after announcing the single's debut date last week, we’ve now been given a glimpse at the upcoming music video, directed by their partner, baby daddy, and song inspo — Alev Aydin.

The teaser opens with the camera slowly zooming in on a dressing room vanity set up over the tinkling of a music box melody. It then cuts to a close-up of a vanity topped with crystals, a candle, perfume, and an engraved award commemorating Halsey’s June 30, 2018 show at Red Rocks Amphitheater. As the video continues, it shows a flash of Aydin looking at the camera, before cutting to Halsey eerily starring right into our souls.
