Bindi Irwin and her new husband, Chandler Powell celebrated their very first Christmas as a married couple.
The TV-personality and conservationist, 22, shared a photo with her 4.1 million fans on Instagram of a family Christmas card sent from her mother.
“Our first family Christmas card from my beautiful mama. So much love.”
The soon-to-be family of three shared a candid family photo with Bindi’s mother and brother from their family zoo in Australia.
“Happy Holidays from our Australia Zoo family to yours. 💚" The happy family all wore matching festive green Christmas sweaters that read “Australia Zoo.”
Powell, 24, also celebrated the holiday on his own Instagram account with a photo of the newlyweds in front of a makeshift Christmas tree.
The happy couple posed in front of what appears to be a wild bush with a a few ornaments, and stockings hanging from it. “Merry Christmas from our little family (including Emily the curlew...)🎄,” Powell captioned the photo. The newlyweds were sure to include their small Cavalier King Charles puppy, and an exotic curlew bird named Emily, with them in the photo.
Bindi Irwin joked saying, “Emily is definitely part of the family now 😂❤️”
The couple tied the knot in March and announced their pregnancy in August of this year.
Irwin has previously used a slew of wild animals to describe her baby girl's growth patterns, comparing her child to a hummingbird as well as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise in previous posts. Currently, Bindi’s baby is the size of a shingleback lizard.
