Toronto rapper Drake’s betting “kiss of death” seems to have been lifted for now, after winning big during Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday night.

When it comes to supporting his favorite sporting franchises, the "Drake Curse" has become as real as the rapper's collection of massive hits. After posing with the likes of fighters Conor McGregor and Anthony Joshua for example, they both lost subsequent matches. The same happened to U.K. soccer team Manchester City after posing with striker Sergio Aguero, as well as the University of Alabama's football team after Drake simply repped the school's colors. The unfortunate list literally goes on and on, however, there seems to be some light peeking in.

When the 37-year-old rapper with an estimated net worth of $250 million bet some major bucks that Taylor Swift's Kansas City Chiefs would beat the San Francisco 49ers for the Super Bowl trophy on Sunday night, many fans assumed the worst, only to see the team take the win in overtime. Drake's bet, shared via receipt from Stake on his Instagram account on Sunday morning, showed he put down an impressive $1.15 million on the Chiefs, essentially doubling his money with the win.

Admitting that he couldn't bet against the Swifties in his initial post, Drake successfully harnessed the power of Taylor Swift and her throngs of fans standing with her as she cheered on her man, Travis Kelce -- and celebrated the big win on his IG Story after all was said and done.

Over a broken plate that surely met it's end as the Chiefs made their game-winning touchdown, Drake says with a smirk -- correcting his friend who joined with him in celebrating -- "I won a million dollars," while tagging Stake co-owner Ed Craven -- likely so he would get that money transferred ASAP. Congrats to the Chiefs and Drake on the big wins!
