It’s almost time for the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony in Canton and it’s a big year for Cleveland! Cleveland Browns legend, Joe Thomas joins the class of 2023.
The Browns are also in this year’s Hall of Fame Game against the New York Jets at 8 p.m. tonight at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
The Hall of Fame Village has events going on all weekend. Starting tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., the class of 2023 and all returning Hall of Famers will take a group photo at Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton.
Following that, at 11a.m. at the Canton Civic Center, there will be a fashion show luncheon, which features nearly 3,000 guests and "a diverse range of fashion, including clothing for men, women and children from both local and national stores."
Friday at 5pm at the Canton Civic Center is the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner. Each member within the class of 2023 is given their gold jacket including Joe Thomas!
Saturday at 8am, the parade will begin. Described as the fifth largest parade in the United States, organizers say the event features balloons, marching bands, floats, dancers, costumed football fans and more.
This is also where football fans can get a glimpse of the 2023 enshrinees along with more returning Hall of Famers.
The Enshrinement ceremony itself takes place Saturday at noon where the Class of 2023 is officially enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It will be followed by a concert from Zac Brown Band at 8 p.m. at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
