Cleveland has been ranked one of the top 25 walkable cities in the US

Cleveland has been ranked one of the top 25 walkable cities in the US at number 17 on the list. They looked at how far cities are from residences to offices, gyms, grocery stores and more. Plus, the distance between city blocks and access to transportation.

This study is according to the 2023 Foot Traffic Ahead report, which was conducted by Smart Growth America, a national nonprofit urban planning advocacy organization. Ohio cities did take over the top 25 list with Cleveland at 17, Columbus placed 19th and Cincinnati ranked 25th.

The top 3 walkable cities are Washington D.C. at 3, Boston in second, then New York City at #1.
