Residents and visitors will experience a variety of family-friendly programming, entertainment and educational opportunities at the Lake Erie waterfront; tickets are on sale now for the action-packed maritime event
DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND – The Tall Ships Are Coming®! The 2022 Cleveland TALL SHIPS® Festival, presented by Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA), makes its return to the Lake Erie waterfront July 7 – 10, 2022. Tickets for the highly anticipated four-day maritime event are now available for purchase at TallShipsCLE.com.
Presented in conjunction with Tall Ships America®, the exciting summertime experience is set to draw thousands of visitors to enjoy our nation’s rich maritime history aboard the tall ships. The Festival will feature live entertainment, exhibits, food and beverage options and tours aboard the fleet!
A dramatic Parade of Sail kicks off the celebrations with a display of eight traditional sailing vessels from Canada, the United States and Spain crewed, in part, by youth ages 13 – 25. Additional event activities include sail aways, “Ask the Captain” forums, photo ops, a festival marketplace and family-friendly activities. Guests won’t want to miss performances by Tom Mason & the Blue Buccaneers, and the amazing firework show!
Tickets are required for Festival entry and ship tours, as well as the two new special events: Happy Hour at the Dock and Fireworks at the Festival. General admission ranges from $17 for Seniors (65+) and Kids (3-12) to $20, three-day GA passes for $50 up to $300 for Tall Ships All Access. Separate tickets are required to attend the Parade of Sail and Captain’s reception ($100 -$250). The Tall Ships may be viewed for FREE from Wendy Park and Voinovich Park at North Coast Harbor.
