Since the Brood X cicada period finds bugs invading the East Coast, The Pizza Bandit in Dayton is finding a way to “repurpose” them. They posted a video if a tasting panel trying out a Spicy Thai Cicada Pie.
Before you get excited, or grossed out, they aren't selling the pie in their restaurant. Although, according to the FDA, "These insects share a family relation to shrimp and lobsters."
