Cleveland is in the path of totality and expects an estimated 200,000 visitors to Cuyahoga County.

The Great Lakes Science Center and NASA are hosting a Total Eclipse Festival event from 10am to 5pm Saturday April 5th through Monday, April 8th, and are expecting crowds of up to 30,000.
Eclipse Day Business Tips • Ensure deliveries are completed early in the morning prior to noon to accommodate for parking bans and closures (see attached maps for more details on parking bans and road closures).
• Later deliveries may not be possible to complete due to congestion.
Eclipse Day Safety • Cleveland Division of Police will be fully staffed on April 8th to ensure a safe and smooth day.
• Both the City and County emergency operations centers (EOC) will be open and staffed.
• CMSD and other school districts will be closed to eliminate some traffic concerns.
• Cleveland City Hall will be closed.
• Downtown’s reunification center will be at DCI’s Terminal Tower co-deployment center.
• Almost complete darkness is anticipated during the 4-minute window of totality; be careful when traveling! • Please do your part to keep Downtown clean and safe by properly disposing of eclipse glasses (or keep them as souvenirs).
