
Fans will be gathering at Progressive Field with or without the Indians being there this summer. Progressive Field will be hosting its inaugural 'Grand Slam Beerfest" July 31st.
According to a release, the baseball-themed event will give fans the chance to taste more than 150 craft beers, wines and cocktails while checking out the ballpark. The event is a partnership between Cleveland Beerfest and benefitting The Music Settlement of Cleveland. The event will be two sessions and will "celebrate Cleveland’s brewing history and future."
Per WKYC, a presale for Indians season ticket holders will take place on Friday, May 7, with tickets going on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 10. Tickets and more information on the event can be found at www.GrandSlamBeerfest.com.
