The Cleveland Indians say they will not allow anyone to wear inappropriate or offensive imaging to Native Americans this season.
The team says the garb must be covered or removed and failure to comply will result in ejection or no admission to their home games. However, the announcement does not include the Chief Wahoo logo.
This comes as after the franchise's announcement last year that the team will change its name following years of demands and calls from Native American groups for the change. A new name will not be officially chosen until after this season.
