As Bachelor Matt James gets closer to picking his winner, rumors are swirling as to who the next Bachelorette will be.
ABC apparently has their eye on fan-favorite Katie Thurston to be the next leading lady. Sources close to Variety say the network hasn't made a final decision yet, but that Thurston is currently the front runner.
Reality Steve also contributed to the rumor mill when he tweeted that Thurston was announced as the Bachelorette while taping the Women Tell All.
Reality Steve later clarified that while Katie wasn't officially announced as the next Bachelorette at WTA, it is "confirmed" that it's her and will be announced this week.
Thurston has been a fan-favorite in Matt James season after standing up to the "mean girls." She is a fierce supporter of other women and was quick to address bullying and toxicity in the house.
