Sam Asghari has filed for divorce from Britney Spears. Sam and Britney started dating back in 2016 when he was in one of her music videos. They’ve been together since but got married just 14 months ago.
An inside source claims that Sam confronted Britney recently over rumors she engaged in an outside-the-marriage hookup. It’s only a rumor at this point, but the insider says Sam believed the cheating allegations, which led to a huge fight between the couple. Sam Ashari’s official reason for divorce was “irreconcilable differences.”
Britney Spears has allegedly retained an infamous celebrity divorce lawyer as well as her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, the former federal prosecutor who got her out of her conservatorship.
As far as a prenup goes, Spears has one to protect her assets, though it is likely she would float some cash Asghari’s way upon their official breakup.
