Venus Williams pulls out of Tennis in the Land tournament

One of tennis’ biggest names was supposed to be here in Cleveland, but she has backed out of Tennis in the Land.

Venus Williams, 43, released a video explaining to fans why she isn’t able to come to the U.S. Open Series women’s tournament at the Nautica Waterfront District. Venus has a knee injury and she said it was acting up, so she can’t be on the court right now. She did say she is a big fan of the Midwest and is sad to miss out, but she will be back.
