Where to go in Cleveland to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and eat Irish food

Looking for suggestions on where to go to eat, drink or celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Cleveland? Check out this list:

Collision Bend Brewing Co.

Located in The Flats, Collision Bend is offering beer, breakfast and bagpipes followed by Crawley and Sofranko from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. They will have a special St. Patrick’s Day menu and themed cocktails.

Flat Iron Cafe

Flat Iron Café is located in The Flats and is the oldest Irish pub in Cleveland. They will have live Irish music playing and kegs and eggs starting at 7 a.m. They offer free shuttle rides to the parade and you can end the night with a pipe and drum band performance there after the parade.

Flannery’s Pub

Located right in Downtown off East 4th St, prime location to celebrate St. Patrick's day and still make it to the parade! Grab a pint of Guinness or an Irish whiskey and have some corned beef at this traditional Irish pub.

The Harp

Located in the Detroit Shore, The Harp will offer a list of Irish beer that you can mix up with their draughts like a Black and Tan. They will have live Irish music as well as corned beef sandwiches and shepherd’s pies.


Slyman’s is famous for their huge corned beef sandwiches, but be prepared for a busy crowd all day as they serve over 1,000 pounds of corned beef on St. Patrick’s Day. You can also get roast beef or pastrami on a sandwich or have it for breakfast with eggs and homefries.

Parnell’s Irish Pub

Located right in downtown making it a great spot to stop before and after the parade for craft beer, Irish whiskey, Irish beer and cider. They open their doors early to celebrate the day.

PJ McIntyre’s Irish Pub

Located in Kamm's Corners, they were voted the #1 Irish Pub in Ohio by Delish. This spot is a great place to celebrate as they have signs in Gaelic and mimic the smell of an Irish pub by burning turf like many traditional pubs do in Ireland. They will open early and offer a full breakfast plus have a Lucky Charms eating contest as well as live Irish music, bagpipers, and dancing.

Great Lakes Brewing Company

Located in Ohio City, even though they aren't an Irish pub, Great Lakes will be celebrating with live music, the Fatty Wagon bus transporting people to and from downtown for the parade, food specials, and Irish-inspired beer.
