With a grand total of 25 Guinness World Records, not to mention the several world records they’ve previously held, BTS has shown there’s no limit to what they can achieve.
Suga is celebrating his 29th birthday on March 9th and we felt it’d be an appropriate time to look back on all of the Guinness World Records BTS has set. Taking that one step further, we’re looking at five records the K-Pop superstars have set that seem unbreakable. You know, the ones that make you drop your jaw and think “how the heck did they do that?”

BTS set the record on September 25, 2019 when they amassed one million TikTok followers in an astonishing 3 hours and 31 minutes.
Most tickets sold for a livestreamed concert

While live concert streams will continue to be a way for fans to watch their favorite musicians perform, there’s a high likelihood no one will get anywhere close to this record. BTS sold a remarkable 756,000 tickets for their June 14, 2020 Bang Bang Con: The Live livestream.
Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours

When BTS released their music video for “Butter” back in May of 2021, the racked up 108,200,000 views in the first 24 hours.
First K-Pop group to reach the Top 10 on the US singles chart

This one may be cheating a bit, but BTS became the first K-Pop band to score a top 10 single on the US singles chart. We’re not very good at math, but we’re pretty sure there can only be one “first” in any record.
Most weeks at number on Billboard’s Social 50 chart

The Billboard Social 50 chart ranks the most active artists on social media and is based on the artist’s weekly additions of friends, fans, followers, website views, and streams. Since July 29, 2017 BTS has occupied the number one spot. With 210 straight weeks at number one, it seems unlikely anyone will ever come close to that number.
