As the celebration continues, some BTS members have shared touching messages to the ARMY on the K-Pop group’s official day of their 10th anniversary.

Ten years ago today (June 13), BTS made their debut. In honor and in celebration RM, J-hope, Jimin, Jin, and V shared messages thanking their fans, and look back on how far they’ve come, celebrating their accomplishments as they look towards the future.
RM shared his handwritten letter though Weverse and Instagram, thanking the ARMY, and discussing the groups’ growth throughout the years. “There were countless ups and downs. There were many dawns that I don’t even remember. I’m a different person at 30,” he wrote, as translated by K-Pop news site Koreaboo.
“There were plenty of wind, and rain, and love. Perhaps, we have built our own world, one that no one can understand,” RM continued. “Thanks to ARMY and the many people who have helped us, we were able to experience something special, that we won’t be able to experience again.”
Also over on Weverse, Jimin shared his message, speaking about how in his opinion “nothing much has changed” in his 10 years as a K-pop idol. “I’m an adult too now. Although I still feel similar to when I was 19 on the inside,” he noted, per Koreaboo.
Also going on to thank their loyal fanbase, saying, “I’ve told this to ARMY a few times, it’s not something just anyone can do, to be able to unconditionally give your love, support, and strength to someone. That is why we very much are aware, just how happy of people we are.”
Meanwhile, J-hope, who’s currently in the military, surprised fans with a written note as well, “To comfort all of you going through this Hobi-less time, I will send my greetings through letters on special days like this.”
“I always spent this day with you, but now having to spend 613 without a couple of people, I feel a little bit worried and lonely deep down,” J-hope said, per Koreaboo. “Like we always did, let’s remember this moment today and remind ourselves of the memories we’ve had all this time and spend it happily.”
Jin, also currently serving in the military, commemorated the special occasion by sharing a picture of the group taking a bow on Instagram, captioned ’ARMY' with a heart.
Jin also took to Weverse to share a heartfelt letter expressing his gratitude on 10 year milestone, also shouting out the ARMY for all that they do. ”I’ll be with you on the 11th anniversary." Jin said, "Our ARMY, thanks to you we are able to have our 10th anniversary. There's a saying that mountains and rivers change in 10 years but I am amazed by how BTS and ARMY's love hasn't changed. I also definitely want to give you some type of 10th anniversary content but... I just have a sad heart because I am not able to be with you all. Before enlisting, I should have filmed more content. I'm not sure how to deliver this sorry heart.”
V celebrated the group’s 10th anniversary by sharing a bunch of sentimental, funny, and adorable videos of BTS throughout the years on his IG stories. Sharing a few words on each clip to make up a short and sweet message to his fellow members and of course the ARMY.
