After Future and Metro Boomin unveiled the official artwork for their highly anticipated collab earlier this week, WE DON’T TRUST YOU has officially arrived for our listening pleasure.

Shot by Matt Adam, in the shots, Metro and Future are dressed to impress, with Future suited up in Lanvin, and Metro in Celine. Fitting of the occasion, as the two celebrate “the historic partnership of two culture-shifting legends at the peak of their powers, “ so says the official statement. And we happen to agree.
“Full of their signature dynamic lyricism and forward-looking production,” the 17-track album, “boasts a who’s-who of some of the duo’s most trusted collaborators,” a the press release explains. On that list is Travis Scott (twice), Playboi Carti, Kendrick Lamar and Rick Ross.
“Listeners around the world are bracing for impact — two LPs' worth of Metro’s sinister cinematic soundscapes and Future’s irresistible demon musicality. These projects are a culmination of rap's most fruitful partnership. Since meeting when Metro was only 17 years old, Hendrix and Metro have penetrated the streets and the pop culture consciousness with engrossing hustler theme songs — stylish anthems that resonate everywhere from the block and beyond.”
Future and Metro Boomin’s latest collaborations are just a continuation of a musical legacy that dates back to 2013’s "Karate Chop.” Of course, there’s also 2015’s "Jumpman" with Drake, and 2017’s "Mask Off," singles that fortified their collaborative connection, and combined have gone to be certified 14-times Platinum by the RIAA. Metro even turned a Future bar into his unmistakable producer tag, you know the one — "If Young Metro don't trust you I'm gon' shoot you.”
And Future and Metro aren’t finished, WE DON’T TRUST YOU is just the first chapter of their “rap-conquering alliance,” as the duo already have plans to do it again, releasing another album just a few weeks from now on April 12.
