Based on Wondery’s “Joe Exotic” podcast on Audacy hosted by Robert Moor, the limited series takes “a comprehensive dive into the lives” of the big cat advocates and rivals.

The official first-look teaser finds Carole setting her sights on destroying Joe, who she believes is using his big cats to turn a profit.

“She sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous,” Peacock notes.

“I know if we can just sit down and talk, we can come to an understanding,” Cameron Mitchell as Exotic says in the trailer while Baskin lets out a hearty laugh.

“It’s war,” she later declares.

Etan Frankel is behind the project, along with McKinnon, who also serves as an executive producer.

"We knew it would take two extraordinary actors to portray these larger-than-life people as the complex, three-dimensional individuals that they are," he said in a statement of the casting.

The series will consist of eight episodes that will begin streaming on March 3!
