Well, after lots of social media speculation, it seems Kanye West didn’t actually get his teeth removed to install titanium grills.

On Wednesday January 17, West took to his IG Stories to post a picture of himself smiling with his new titanium piece, which features a set of fangs, followed by a screenshot of a Google search for the Bond villain, Jaws, from the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me and 1979's Moonraker.

Subsequently, the internet did what the internet does best and rumors began to spread that Ye’s $850,000 James Bond villain inspired set, permanently and procedurally replaced West’s actual teeth.
That said, we now know more thanks to “a source close to Ye,” via Complex.
While the artist had metal "fixed prosthodontics" installed by Beverly Hills, California, based dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly that are “as the name suggests, fixed and permanent," Kanye did not have his teeth removed to do so.
“This goes way beyond veneers or grills," the source reportedly added. "And his particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before.”
