Liam delved into his personal experience with auditioning for X-Factor and how when he wasn’t sure about being in a boy band, he took his father’s advice, “you could be 100% of nothing or 1/5 of something,” to make his final decision.

As Liam explained, he wasn't used to "rowdy guys,” and found getting to know his new bandmates to be a bit difficult.

"Louis was wild,” Liam said referring to former bandmate Louis Tomlinson. “He wanted to be wild. He’s got this spirit." Liam pointed out, noting while Tomlinson is his "best mate now,” during their time in 1D “we hated each other. Like, to come to blows hate each other, it was close.”

Ummm say what?!

At another point in the interview Liam recalled a moment between himself and another bandmate (which he didn’t name), explaining that an argument got so heated, "he threw me up a wall. So I said to him 'If you don’t remove those hands there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again.'"

BIG YIKES! Oh and on that note, Louis wasn’t the only one of group Liam had or has issues with.

"There's many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there's many reasons why I'll always, always be on his side," Liam started off, talking of course about Zayn Malik. “If I had had to go through what he went through—with his growth and whatever else... My parents are overly supportive to the point where it's annoying at times. Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense.”

He continued, “You can always look at the man for where he is and say ‘whatever, that guy’s a d***.’ But at the end of the day once you understand what he’s been through to get to that point and also whether or not he even wanted to be there. I’m so misunderstood by myself more than anyone… I can’t sit here and d*** on him because of whatever… I can’t commend some of the things he’s done, I can’t be on his side for that.”

“But what I can say is I understand,” Liam expressed, “and you only hope that at some point the person on the other side of the phone wants to receive the help you’re willing to give them. And that’s all I’ll say.”

Well on that matter at least. Throughout the interview Liam also explained the whole deal with that Justin Bieber beef, called out a few names you’ll most definitely recognize, talked about life as a father, and so much more. You can hear it all above.
