Many sources are saying that while a COVID-19 vaccine is in the works, it may not be available for another 12 to 18 months. You may be wondering why.
Creating a vaccine is essentially an experiment; one that has to be tested on humans before distributing to the public.
Jennifer Haller, age 43 of Seattle was the first person to be injected with a trial vaccine. The study that she is a part of will have 45 participants total.
She says she is getting paid, yet believes this is more about people getting back to normal life as soon as possible.
