Mental health is important for each and every one of us. If you do not have a mental illness, it is very likely that you know someone who does. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, more than one million Virginians who are 18 years old or over have some form of a mental illness.
May is Mental Health Awareness month and Q94 wants to give you the resources that you or a loved one may need.
Always remember that you are not alone.
PLEASE NOTE: If you or a loved one are experiencing a psychiatric crisis, please call 911 or Suicide Prevention Lifeline (800) 273-TALK or (800) SUICIDE. Also, feel free to text "NAMI" to 741741 if you are having suicidal thoughts or urges.
