Hugh Jackman is taking it back to his Wolverine days.
The actor reminisced on his sculpted body and intense workouts in a recent throwback photo on Instagram.

"Is it just me… or does this guy look like he's in serious pain?!” he captioned a ripped photo of himself completing a heavy deadlift.
In the photo, presumably from the time he filmed “Logan,” the swole actor’s biceps are bulging out of his tank.
The 53-year-old was one of the first stars to whip his body into superhero shape, but he’s also been pretty honest about the toll the workouts took on his body.
His workout was described as “intense” by longtime personal trainer Mike Ryan, who helped Jackman morph into the brooding mutant hero for nine movies spanning 16 years.
Ryan talked to Coach magazine noting that he and Jackman would train first thing in the morning to accommodate his filming schedules.
The outlet even noted that in 2016, Jackman joined the 1,000lb powerlifting club meaning he could do a 235lb bench press, a 410lb deadlift, and a 345lb squat in a day.
He described a typical Jackman workout as spanning 90 minutes, including warm-up and cardio sessions. “We never start a weights session without a minimum ten-minute cardio warm-up. Never, ever,” Ryan said. “After a session we often finish with 20 minutes of cardio, which could be a run, or run and swim.”
It wasn’t just about getting his body whipped into shape -- nutrition was key, too.
When Jackman finally began to wrap up filming on “The Wolverine” in 2013, he told EW that "was starting to see a life free of steamed chicken breasts.”
Jackman also opened up about the physical scars from the character’s metal claws, which he had to “practice” wearing so that he wouldn’t “hit people.”
"I've got a number of scars on my thighs, and it's really not cool. Got pretty close to some sensitive areas, but everything's fine,” he joked.
