In 2018, Franco was accused of fraud and claims were made that he was responsible for inappropriate and sexually exploitive behavior while on set at the school.
Franco, 43, has denied the allegations, but in a statement from his team it has been noted that he believes the plaintiffs raised an important issue and it reads that "now is a critical time to focus on addressing the mistreatment of women in Hollywood."
The actor has also agreed to "non-economic" terms with the plaintiffs, which have not been disclosed.
