Another day has brought us a new round of verbal wizardry from rapper Kanye West, now known as just Ye, as he defends himself against throngs of #Swifties apparently hoping to topple his new Vultures I album from the charts.

After coming across some of superstar Taylor Swift’s fanbase apparently calling on their peers online to purchase and stream Queen Beyoncé's new music in the hopes of blocking Ye's latest release from chart success, he grabbed a screenshot as a receipt and decided to explain how he’s neither a friend nor foe of the #Swifties.

Responding to the newest "Swiftie Emergency" in all caps, Ye addresses the issue by asking fans to remember that he was “on Taylor’s side” when Scooter Braun famously purchased her music catalog “behind her back,” which led to the singer's massively successful Taylors’s Version releases. West adds, “She and Beyoncé are big inspirations to all musicians we always say how both sell out tours and movies.”

“Also,” Ye continues, “I’m sure I’ve been far more helpful to Taylor Swift’s career than harmful,” before reaching out an olive branch of sorts, saying, “I am not your enemy uuum im not your friend either though lol.” IYKYK... but the beef between the two began back in 2009 when West crashed Swift's win on the VMAs stage, and hit a fever pitch in 2016 with the release of West's Life of Pablo single "Famous."

“Last year was incredibly challenging for me, my wife, my children, friends and family,” Ye also says in his post, referencing the fallout that occurred after being accused of using hate speech, resulting in the dissolution of multiple business collaborations. “I’ve been banned from hotels, kicked out of companies, and even not allowed to eat in some restaurants,” West explains.

West also took the chance, as all eyes were on his post, to clear the air about any rumors that Swift had him booted from seats in front of her viewing box at the Super Bowl, saying he and his wife, Bianca Censori, "left our seats to go to YG’s box and see different friends... My wife had never been to a super bowl so I wanted to walk around and have a nice time we had such a fun day," he insists.
