
Hip Hop icon, DMX is still on life support and fans across the world are collectively hoping for the best. Recently, friend and comrade, Master P was asked about his legacy and raised an interesting question.

First and foremost, the New Orleans native expressed, "DMX is an icon." However, he continued, "I just hate that we have to wait til something happens to one of these guys or to one of us before everybody really start saying how much we care." Master P is calling for ways to prevent. "The truth hurts. Drugs done killed a lot of our great ones," he stated. Tragically, Michael Jackson, Prince and Whitney Houston all had accidental, drug-related deaths.
He then goes onto say "hip hop needs some type of union," similar to the NBA's union. "Think about it, the NBA when they done, they go to Sports Center. Where do hip hop go? [They] go back to the hood," he stated. Master P plans to start "educating" the next generation and wants to follow the money trail after several high profile donations have been poured into HBCUs. Most of all, Master P expressed, "there will never be another DMX. He's one of a kind." Check out the full interview below.
