Black Stone Cherry is a band in the truest sense of the word. Nearly 20 years after their self-titled debut, eight albums, six UK Top 20 hits and four Top 25 U.S. radio singles, the Kentucky foursome continue to bring the same fire, heart and camaraderie that started it all.
Their new record, Celebrate, was produced by the band and recorded at High Street Studios in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It captures the band at their best, blending rock, metal, blues, soul and roots with honest, emotional songwriting. The album features six original tracks and a cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” with Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman.
The songs grew from years on the road before the band began writing together at guitarist Ben Wells’ home studio in early 2025. Swapping instruments and building ideas together, they created a record that reflects where they are now: four longtime friends, devoted musicians and family men who value their fans, their relationships and the music they make.
As Chris puts it, Celebrate is “an unpolished diamond.”
