Technically, Bob Dylan’s tour never ended. It was just on an indefinite hiatus.
Famously known as the Never Ending Tour, the iconic songwriter has been touring pretty much continuously since 1988 and he’s just dropped a new string of dates that will see him perform across the country in 2021.
Bob Dylan announced a 21-date string of concerts as part of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour that will begin in Milwaukee on November 2nd and wrap up a month later in Washington, D.C. While the tour is being billed with a different name, it certainly fits the spirit of Dylan’s commitment to the road. Especially when you consider that his website is promoting the upcoming tour as running through 2024.
Dylan, like so many other artists, was forced to put his touring schedule on hold as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. His last performance came in December 2019, making his present break from the road the longest he’s had since his 1981-1984 break.
Tickets for each show will go on sale Friday, October 1st at 10 AM local time. You can find a full list of Bob Dylan tour dates below and purchase tickets here.
