Emily Raines

Emily was born and raised in Georgia. Growing up she always wanted to be a doctor. While attending Georgia Tech as pre-med, she took a hard left turn and ended up in broadcasting. After doing a little sports broadcasting on TV, she decided radio was where she belonged. Outside of work, Emily enjoys sports, traveling, and exercising. She also fosters dogs and uses her social media following to get them adopted as quickly as possible. Spreading suicide awareness and prevention is very important to her due to a family history with the terrible epidemic. She goes into the community to share her personal story and spread education. Many know Emily as “Freckles” because… wait for it… she has a lot of Freckles.
