It looks like Rockets center Alperen Sengun is going to be an All-Star after all.
After being left off the original team, Sengun was announced Sunday as a replacement for Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is dealing with an abdominal injury.
Sengun will replace Gilgeous-Alexander on the World team.
This marks the second straight season as an All-Star for Sengun, who is also coming off his second triple-double of the season in a 112-106 win over the Thunder.
Sengun, in his fifth season, is averaging 20.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game for the Rockets (32-19, No. 4 seed). He joins teammate Kevin Durant representing the Rockets in this All-Star game.
