Clint Capela is coming back. Rockets agree to sign veteran free agent center.

Here's a reunion you may not have been expecting.

The Rockets are bringing back center Clint Capela on a three-year, $21.5 million deal, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Monday.

Capela adds depth to a front court that already includes All-Star center Alperen Sengun, along with veteran Steven Adams, who they just recently agreed to re-sign to a three-year, $39 million contract.

Last season, Capela averaged 8.9 points and 8.5 rebounds in 55 games for Atlanta. He played 21.4 minutes per game and started in 41 of them. Capela, 31, was traded from the Rockets to the Atlanta Hawks five years ago and he's been there ever since. But he spent his first six NBA seasons with Houston.

This likely signals the end of Jock Landale's run with Houston. Landale has a $8 million non-guarantee for the upcoming season.

The Rockets are also signing free agent forward Dorian Finney-Smith to a four-year, $53 million deal.
