AFC Wild Card: Texans visit Steelers on Monday Night Football

The NFL playoffs bracket is set.

After a missed 44-yard field goal by Ravens placekicker Tyler Loop, the Pittsburgh Steelers survived Sunday night and claim the AFC North title.

It means they are the AFC's fourth-seed and sets them up with a wild-card matchup against the Houston Texans in Pittsburgh.

The Texans (12-5) and Steelers (10-7) play Monday, Jan. 12 on ESPN at 7 p.m. CST.

Texans fans watched Sunday Night Football with much anticipation, waiting to see if Houston would travel to Baltimore or Pittsburgh. With so many twists and turns in this game, it seemed like either team might claim the North.

The Ravens took a 10-3 lead into halftime after the Steelers failed to punch it in from near the goal line in the final moments of the second quarter.

But the Steelers had the ball first to start the second half and outscored the Ravens 10-0 in the third quarter to take a 13-10 lead.

Then things got wild in the fourth. Zay Flowers scored on a 50-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson. The Steelers responded with an eight-play, 60-yard drive capped by a two-yard touchdown run by Kenneth Gainwell.

Jackson and Flowers weren't done, though. They connected on another explosive touchdown play, this time for 64 yards.

It was Aaron Rodgers' throw to Calvin Austin III with less than a minute to go that gave the Steelers the game-defining lead.

The Ravens had a nice kickoff and marched into field goal range, but Loop could not connect.

The Texans bring a nine-game winning streak into Pittsburgh next week after finishing the regular season with a 38-30 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
