(SportsRadio 610) -- There is no more popular name on the Texans’ trade circuit than wide receiver Will Fuller.

Teams have shown interest in the Texans’ No. 1 receiver. One of those teams reportedly interested is their most recent opponent, the Green Bay Packers.

While Fuller was underwhelming against the Packers in Week 7, there was indication before the game of possible interest from Green Bay.

The trade deadline is Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Packers second-year head coach Matt LaFleur, who started his career with the Texans over a decade ago and coached quarterbacks at Notre Dame during Fuller’s breakout sophomore season there, was complimentary of Fuller.

When asked about Fuller by SportsRadio 610, LaFleur had this to say:

“You can really see him improving every year he gets out on that field,” said LaFleur, whose Packers (4-1) visit the Texans (1-5) on Sunday. “I think he’s a legitimate No. 1 receiver and he definitely has the speed that you’ve got to know where he is at all times, especially when you’ve got a guy like Deshaun (Watson) throwing him the football. There’s been a lot of explosive plays.

“I’m really happy to see him have success. … I’m a big Will Fuller fan.”

Fuller is in his fifth season with the Texans after being selected with the 21st pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Fuller is playing out the final season of his rookie contract and could become a free agent after this season.

When healthy, he’d been Deshaun Watson’s No. 2 receiver before the Texans traded away DeAndre Hopkins this past offseason, thrusting Fuller into the No. 1 option.

Fuller leads the team with 490 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 31 catches.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said Tuesday morning Fuller is "generating a lot of interest" and the Packers fall into the mix.

Aaron Wilson at the Houston Chronicle also reports interest in Fuller from several teams, including the Packers.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reported Tuesday afternoon the Packers have discussed trading for Fuller, but there is disagreement within highest level of the Packers' organization whether it's worth trading for an elite receiver just for the short term.

In a radio interview Monday, Texans CEO and chairman Cal McNair said he did not anticipate any big trade deadline moves, and that he's still optimistic about the season despite a 1-6 record.

Later that morning, interim head coach Romeo Crennel indicated the Texans would trade, but they're only considering substantial offers.

"I'm not trading for peanuts," Crennel said.
