On Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that former Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has agreed to terms with the Seahawks on a three-year, $45 million contract.
Not only does this news mean the 31-year-old will be calling somewhere other than Los Angeles home for the first time in his NFL career, it also means Kupp’s new football home will not be in Houston.
Earlier in the week, The Drive laid out all the reasons it made sense for Kupp to sign with the Texans.
He worked with their new offensive coordinator Nick Caley with the Rams and Houston's management has shown its willingness to pay a decent penny for wide receivers, as evidenced by trading for Stefon Diggs and extending Nico Collins last season.

With Kupp off the board for Houston, here’s a list of the top remaining free agent wide receivers available for the Texans to sign:
- Nelson Agholor, Baltimore Ravens (31 years old)

Outside of a few “name” guys, it’s not a very impressive list. A lot of guys past their prime, and a lot of guys who have surely been available on your fantasy football waiver wire in recent years.
And worst of all for Texans fans - that list is shrinking every single day.
