After the Texans' lost 18-15 to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, head coach DeMeco Ryans was asked about their failed goal line attempts in one of their rare trips to the end zone.
Ryans talked about it coming down to will power and the insistence on moving and displacing other men from their positions at the line of scrimmage.
That all sounds great and of course Ryans, who was an All-Pro linebacker in the league, understands this concept better than most.
The issue is whether he's recognizing that the players Houston's assembled simply do not fit this profile. As In The Loop's John P. Lopez put it on Reaction Monday, "they're just not good enough."
