HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Duane Brown's first road game at NRG Stadium didn't feel like a road game.

"The Twelves, they travel well," Brown said, referring to the Seattle Seahawks 12th man, following Sunday's 33-13 win over the Texans. "We saw them at the hotel. We  knew they would show up big. much love to our fans, great fans, and yeah, it did feel like a home game."

Brown played in Houston on Sunday for the first time since the trade that sent him to Seattle on October 30, 2017. It was his first game at NRG Stadium since 15 days before the trade.

"It's a surreal feeling for me, my first time back in the building since 2017," Brown said. "Good to see some familiar faces, but good to get the win."

Drafted in the first round of the 2008 draft, Brown started 145 regular season games for the Texans, and he was part of four teams that win AFC South titles in a six-year span. The Texans made no acknowledgement of his return over the course of the week or during the game despite Brown's selection to three Pro Bowls while with the team.

"I'm kind of far removed from it," he said. "It's been four years. I've really been established in Seattle, but it was It was wild coming back and just being in the facility."

A lot has changed with the Texans since the trade. The familiar faces Brown alluded to weren't the players he was lined up across from. Of the 46 players active for Sunday's game, only long snapper Jon Weeks played with Brown during his last game with the Texans. He did play with Texans linebacker Jacob Martin during the 2018 season with Seattle and was complimentary of how's he's improved since joining the Texans.

"He had a lot of potential in Seattle, and he's really worked his game a lot. I told him after the game how proud of him I am. He's really established himself to be a really, really good player."

With Brown anchoring offensive line at left tackle, the Seahawks averaged 6.7 yards per carry on Sunday, and only allowed Russell Wilson to get hit once on 28 pass attempts without allowing a sack.
