(SportsRadio 610) - Texans head coach David Culley missed Thursday's practice to attend a funeral, team officials said.
Culley is expected to return to practice Friday and coach in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers at NRG Stadium.
The team, however, is dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak. As of Thursday morning, 20 players had been added to the COVID-19 reserve list over the past two weeks. The Texans' defensive line was hit especially hard, with seven players on the list.
Houston also lost its top receiver in Brandin Cooks and kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, both of whom landed on the list Wednesday.
There has been no word from the NFL about postponing or rescheduling the game due to the outbreak.
