The Houston Texans on Thursday announced their official coaching staff for the 2026 season.
Most of the crew remains the same, with a few promotions and newcomers. Jerry Schuplinski, who was brought on last season as a senior offensive assistant and pass game specialist, is promoted to quarterbacks coach with the departure of Jerrod Johnson.
James Ferentz is the new tight ends coach after Jake Moreland was fired this offseason.
Alex Ward and Taylor Embree are new offensive assistants, while Bill Lazor moves from senior offensive assistant to senior defensive assistant.
Mark Sheridan and Jay Simpson are new defensive assistants for Houston. Tiquan Underwood was added as an assistant wide receivers coach.
