Texans' WR Will Fuller: 'I'm ready to play on Sunday'

HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans wide receiver Will Fuller appeared on the team's injury report Thursday because of his hamstring, a soft tissue problem Fuller's dealt with for much of his career.

Fuller was limited in Thursday's practice, but was a full participant Friday and said he's ready to play in Sunday's game against the Vikings.

"Yeah, I feel good. I'm ready to go," Fuller said during Friday's media availability. "I'm ready to play on Sunday. So I'm just going to keep a prayer and just getting ready for Sunday."

Last season, Fuller missed five games due to groin and hamstring injuries. Fuller has not played in more than 11 games since his rookie season in 2016, when he played in 14.

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday the team wanted to give Fuller rest Thursday.

Fuller has 12 catches on 15 targets for 166 yards and a touchdown this season.

He led the Texans in Week 1 with eight receptions for 112 yards, including his season-long 31-yard reception.

Fuller had zero targets in the Texans' loss to the Ravens in Week 2, but bounced back in Week 3 against the Steelers with four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown reception.

Fuller is second on the team in receiving yards behind only Randall Cobb (177 yards).
