INFO: Wolstein Center Vaccine Site, RTA Free Rides For Those Getting Vaccines

Free RTA Rides
The RTA will give free rides to anyone on their way to get the COVID-19 vaccine. This includes any site where the shot is being offered in Cuyahoga County. The passes will be distributed between March 17th and May 8th. Anyone who needs a ride is asked to call 211.

Wolstein Center
The 8 week clinic, a collab with the state of Ohio and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), will administer ~6,000 COVID-19 vaccines a day.


COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be availbale seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University (2000 Prospect Ave. E., Cleveland, OH 44115).

Ohioans who are currently eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines can schedule their appointment online at gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov. Use the ZIP code 44115. Set an appointment through the phone with 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).

First three weeks: Patients receive their first dose of Pfizer's vaccine.
Weeks four through six: Patients will return for their second dose of Pfizer
Weeks seven and eight: Patients will be given the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Chapel Hill Mall Status
The mass vaccination clinic at the Wolstein Center is set for a soft launch on Tuesday 3/16 and officially opening on Wednesday 3/17. But the smaller version at Chapel Hill Mall is on hold. They’re waiting for guidance to see if and when parking lots at the mall can be cleared as a drive-thru vaccination site. Until then, no opening date has been set for the location.
