Cleveland Kurentovanje is a Slovenian-infused Mardi Gras carnival that culminates on Saturday, February 18th with a parade and festival that includes live performances, authentic food, and beverages. The festival celebrates the changing of the seasons with the featured Kurenti, ancient and mythological creatures who are believed to chase away winter and usher in spring with their supernatural powers.
There will be additional events this week leading up to the parade on Saturday. A list of those events below:

● Thursday, February 16 – Slovenian Wine Tasting with Grape Intentions
● Friday, February 17 – Plečnik’s Ljubljana- an Exhibit at the Slovenian Museum and Archives
● Saturday, February 18 – Cleveland Kurentovanje 2023 Parade & Main Festival at East 64th & St. Clair Ave.
