The fire at the Bridgeview Apartments started on the seventh floor just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at 1300 W. 9th Street.
Lieutenant Mike Norman with Cleveland fire said the fire was primarily outside of the building, and is not believed to have harmed the in interior of the apartments at this time. The most damage that is expected for the interior of the building is water damage.
Nobody was injured and most residents were able to return back home, unless they had water significant water and smoke damage.
