There are two sides to the whole Taylor Swift discussion.

Side one: “I’m tired of seeing her, why does she have to go to the games? Why does she become the focus? I just wanna watch football.”

Side two: “I love seeing her, I love her music I wanna be a voyeur and live vicariously through them.  Also, I love…

love.”

And Travis has a cute butt (Not my words)

It’s funny to me how worked up people get, and I think it’s the same reason we get worked up over most social media posts.

And most of it, is because of YOU.

If you’re unemployed, and someone makes a job promotion post, can you truly root for them?

If you’re struggling with your finances and someone is going on your dream vacation, can you truly wish them a happy trip?

If you or a loved one is battling cancer, and someone got to ring the bell and are deemed cancer free, do you praise God and smile on their behalf?

It depends on YOU.

My wife is celebrating a birthday this week. We have had our ups and downs. We have gone through the dark times and the light. I am overwhelmed with gratefulness for this journey we are on..

You don’t need to celebrate us, but I want to celebrate us. It’s what is most important to me.

And yeah, Taylor and Travis are not shoving their relationship down our throats, but if they did, I’m OK with it.

Because I know the journey of life.

Because I know we all are struggling with something.

Because I know we are all entitled to..celebrating whatever we can.

So as you go through your day and there doesn’t seem to be something to give a thumbs up about...Look very hard.

Pray on it.

Focus on it.

I got five on it. (minutes, days, weeks to devote to the process.. what did you think I meant?)

Don’t hate on the ones who are happy…Join the club.

You don’t need to be a Swiftie..Just a Happy.

The by-product is that by acting happy, you might actually have the opportunity to BE happy...

With what you have, not what you’re missing.

And that’s a mindset I wanna keep striving for.

All my best as you figure out life and the relationships in it

XOXO Glenn
