Former Browns Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer Passes Away at 77

Marty Schottenheimer passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. He was 77 years old and died peacefully in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Schottenheimer was a coach with the Browns back in the 80s. He spent a few years as defensive coordinator before taking over as head coach in 1984. Schottenheimers head coaching career took him to Kansas City, Washington, and San Diego before eventually leaving the NFL.

Schottenheimer was only one of eight coaches with 200 NFL wins.
